Meet Our Founder, Dr. Tariq Ali
Dr Tariq Ali is an expert implant clinician, a leading dental educator, and the Course Director of Dentology. Drawing on his extensive background in dental implantology, Dr Ali designed Dentology to be a premium, globally accessible learning pathway built specifically "for real dentists in real practice”. Before launching the global Dentology platform, Dr Ali established a well-known, successful in-person dental implant diploma based in Glasgow, UK. Recognising the need for high-quality, flexible postgraduate training for international clinicians, he spearheaded the digital transformation of his curriculum to reach a global audience. His vision led to the creation of this innovative, EduQual Level 11-accredited program, which allows dentists worldwide to advance their skills without taking time away from their clinics.
As a practising educator and clinician, Dr Ali is committed to providing a comprehensive educational journey. He has structured a curriculum that allows dentists to progress seamlessly from online theoretical learning to hands-on clinical mastery through Dentology. He guides students through rigorous, continuous assessments, complex case presentations, OSCE examinations, and intensive in-person practical training in Dubai.
Our Story
Dentology was born from a simple realisation: dentists worldwide needed access to high-quality postgraduate implant training without having to step away from their clinics.
Our Course Director, Dr Tariq Ali, had already established a highly successful and well-known in-person dental implant diploma in Glasgow, UK. However, the traditional in-person model limited international clinicians' ability to access this premium level of education.
To bridge this gap, we spearheaded the digital transformation of this proven curriculum, creating Dentology. We built a standalone digital learning ecosystem designed specifically to provide flexible, globally accessible EduQual Level 11 postgraduate training.
