Our Story
Dentology was born from a simple realisation: dentists worldwide needed access to high-quality postgraduate implant training without having to step away from their clinics.
Our Course Director, Dr Tariq Ali, had already established a highly successful and well-known in-person dental implant diploma in Glasgow, UK. However, the traditional in-person model limited international clinicians' ability to access this premium level of education.
To bridge this gap, we spearheaded the digital transformation of this proven curriculum, creating Dentology. We built a standalone digital learning ecosystem designed specifically to provide flexible, globally accessible EduQual Level 11 postgraduate training.

Meet Our Founder, Dr. Tariq Ali
Tariq Ali BDS, MFDS RCPS(Glasg), MJDF RCS(Eng), Dip Imp Dent RCS(Eng) is an experienced implant dentist, educator, and international lecturer with over 25 years of clinical experience and a particular interest in advanced implant rehabilitation, digital workflows, and full-arch treatment concepts.
He is the Clinical Lead at the Centre for Implant Dentistry (CID), a referral-only implant practice in Glasgow dedicated exclusively to implant dentistry and complex implant rehabilitation. Tariq has placed and restored thousands of implants throughout his career and is recognised for his practical, evidence-based approach to treatment planning, surgery, and restorative care.
As Course Director of Dentology and the Dental Implant Diploma (DID), a Masters-level postgraduate implant programme, Tariq is passionate about helping dentists develop the knowledge, confidence, and clinical skills required to provide predictable implant treatment. His teaching combines academic rigour with real-world clinical experience, enabling delegates to translate learning directly into everyday practice.
Tariq lectures nationally and internationally on implant dentistry, digital treatment workflows, guided surgery, full-arch rehabilitation, risk management, and practice growth. He works closely with industry partners to support the adoption of innovative technologies and structured training pathways that improve patient outcomes and clinical confidence.
